Nazaarah Sabree began her career in community and economic development over twenty years ago. It is an efficient and experienced direction with a story of defense of small businesses in and around the Pennsylvania Commonwealth. She gave commercial development training, technical assistance, as well as the tools necessary for companies to succeed in the four administrations of the mayor.
As a passionate leader, she has executed strategic plans by forging new partnerships, going beyond performance objectives and increasing collaboration efforts within organizations and communities. During her stay with the Ministry of Commerce, she led the leadership and the city’s legislature on tours highlighting small businesses while discussing questions concerning armed violence. Nazaarah has provided advice on system improvements while analyzing key obstacles to success, including regulatory, operational and financial obstacles.
Throughout his career in the non -profit and public sector, Nazaarah has held numerous leadership stations. Coming up in the ranks of the administrative assistant to the defender of small Commonwealth companies. It was recognized by the West Parkside Affairs Association for its civic leadership and small businesses, identified as a “female moving” and honored for her years of service and dedication by the Philadelphia Municipal Council. Nazaarah was also described as the connector and defender of small businesses.
Nazaarah is currently the defender of small businesses of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, appointed by Governor Tom Wolf and confirmed by the Senate in June 2022. As a defender of small businesses, she represents the interests of consumers of small businesses with questions of regulated public services before the public commission of public services, the corresponding national and federal regulatory agencies and in higher courses.
Before becoming small businesses, Nazaarah was the senior director of the City of Philadelphia, Bureau of Business Services in the Commerce Department.
