The next saga of the Marvel cinematographic universe could present more supernatural and darker films, as well as a potential film by Battleworld.
What do we know about the future of the MCU?
During a recent question article on the Cosmic Circus, Alex Perez was asked whether or not films took place in the black / supernatural corner of the MCU would be explored.
Perez said that things like it was “definitely” to come in the next MCU saga, although he did not open on what fans can expect. Another question in the same vein was what Marvel Films planned for his title slots in 2027.
Perez noted that one of the films of 2027 could be a space reserved for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, if Marvel wants to repel it. As for the others, Perez learned that a potential film by Battleworld could be in preparation.
“For July 2027, the unit film could be for a number of things, but it could probably be a date of Marvel Studios in case they wish to repel Spider-Man: Brand New Day to this slot machine,” said Perez. “Another option I heard is that they want to build a film around Battleworld and it could frankly be any plot. Doctor Strange 3, World War Hulk and therefore. We will have to wait and see.”
For those who do not know it, Battleworld is the name of a planet which serves as a framework for the secret wars. Various worlds of battle existed throughout the history of Marvel Comics, including one made by Doctor Doom.
Whether the film Battleworld is or not separated from Avengers: Secret Wars is unknown, but Marvel Studios seems to be set up for a great potential test of force between the Doctor of Robert Downey Jr. and the entire MCU.
