LOS ANGELES – Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass announced that the deadline to file the city’s business taxes has been extended for businesses directly affected by the wildfires. The due date for affected businesses has been extended from February 28, 2025 to April 14, 2025. Additional information from the Office of Finance is available at: finance.lacity.gov.
“I am extending the deadline for businesses impacted by the firestorm to file their municipal business taxes – it’s the right thing to do,” said Mayor Bass. “I have always said that City Hall should be an advocate for business – not an obstacle – that is how we will move forward in recovery. »

The Small Business Administration is in person at the city’s disaster recovery center 7 days a week to assist business owners. The center is located at the UCLA Research Park, formerly known as Westside Pavilion, at 10850 Pico Blvd. It will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., 7 days a week, for the next few weeks.
