Zuckerberg attended the Ardsley High School in New York before transferring to the Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire.

He said on the podcast he had seen “The social network” once.

Watching the film was “weird,” said Zuckerberg.

“They obtained all these very specific details, like what I wore, or as these correct specific things, but the whole story has entered my motivations and all the things were completely false,” he said.

He spoke, for example, from Facemash, a hot website or not that he created when he was still a student at Harvard, where classmates ranked the attractiveness of others.

“It is true that I did a lot of other websites and things when I was in Harvard, but people threw him as if Facemash, that thing I did, was like the precursor of Facebook, I may suppose because they have their face in the name,” he said. “It was completely separated from Facebook.”

The site was a success with students. After a few days, Harvard ordered that it was withdrawn, citing copyright and security problems. Zuckerberg faced disciplinary measures from the university but was authorized to stay in school.

He then started Facebook from his Harvard dormitory, although he later abandoned to build a full -time social media site.

Twenty -one years later Facebook was founded in 2004Zuckerberg says people still think he has created it as a “service to assess people’s attractiveness”.

“And it’s like no, I was just a child making a different random thing,” he said.

Meta did not immediately respond to a request for comments.
