The new year has only just begun, but Bucks County’s social calendar is already filling up with concerts, exhibits and other events for 2025.
Here’s a look at some of the activities to look forward to in the coming year.
Philadelphia Area Theater, Concerts
Lincoln Financial Field will host a number of major artists in 2025, including Kendrick Lamar and SZA on May 5 and Metallica for two dates in late May. The Rolling Stones are scheduled to stop on June 11 and Pink, a Doylestown native, will be there on August 18.
Post Malone must be at Citizens Bank Park on May 24.
Bucks County Theater in New Hope plans to present a variety of musicals in 2025, from the country musical “Hard Road to Heaven” to the musical “The Apple Boys.”
Bristol Riverside Theater‘s spring season features a range of plays and musicals, from historical dramas to classics such as “In the Heights” to an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s murder mystery.
Sellersville Theater offers plenty of live music, free movies and jugglers.
Philadelphia Area Festivals
Philadelphia Folk FestivalI’m about to return to Upper Salford township with live music and camping on the weekend of August 15th.
THE Doylestown Pride Festival is to present music, films, food and other activities from June 14 to 28.
THE Bucks County Book Festival will take place in Doylestown next year, the first week of May, with author panels, workshops, vendors, entertainment and food.
Music festival in Bethlehem — site of Originally from Quakertown Sabrina Carpenter’s first big music break will take place August 1-10, featuring a variety of local and international artists on multiple stages, plus plenty of food. Come to Bethlehem on July 31 for the festival’s preview party to see its first headliner, Megan Moroney.
Discover the Fonthill Castle Oktoberfest in Doylestown on Aug. 23 for craft beer, live music and food to raise money for the museum.
Parades and races in the Philadelphia area
Register for a race of any length in Bucks County next year, from 2 miles to 13 miles. Or cheer on runners at half marathons, like the Eenie-Meanie-Minie-Moe in Newtown in February, or the Rock the Nock in Quakertown in April.
THE Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin on New Falls Road in Levittown on Saturday, March 15 at 10:30 a.m.
The annual Pride Parade Kickoff will be on May 17 at 11 a.m. in Lambertville, crossing the bridge to New Hope.
Driving Attractions in the Philadelphia Area
Monster Jam is expected to come to the PPL Center in Allentown in February and Lincoln Financial Field in April.
Free Car show under the stars in Perkasie will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on August 16.
Arts events in the Philadelphia area
THE Pennridge Art Gallery is scheduled to take place again in Sellersville. Check the event’s social media page for updates on the date.
Crafts in the meadow The Fall Invitational Craft Show at Tyler State Park in Newtown will feature fine arts and crafts October 18-19.
Bucks County Designer Home and Gardens is to host its annual fundraiser at Hidden Trail Farm this year. There’s an empty house party on February 23, a gala on April 25 and touring through Memorial Day. Follow the website for more location details.
THE Doylestown Arts Festival will take place the weekend of September 6, featuring live music, artwork and demonstrations.
Various fun
THE Pennsylvania Agricultural Show runs in Harrisburg through January 11. Head to the exhibit for food, crafts, speakers, competitions, a cow statue sculpted from butter, and lots of adorable real farm animals.
