After a few out -of -season departures, the staff of the Blue Bombers coaches in Winnipeg obtains a minor facelift.
The Bombers announced on Tuesday that they had promoted Jason Hogan to the attacking coordinator, while hiring Jariy Jackson as a new quarter coach.
Hogan takes over an offense by Buck Pierce which sometimes flouted last season and was ranked sixth in the LCF.
Hogan will call on attack games after being running back back coach in the past three seasons. It is the second time in as many years that they have promoted a coordinator after Jordan Younger succeeded Richie Hall as a defensive coordinator last year.

Head coach Mike O’Shea would not say how many candidates they considered for the vacant OC position, but he clearly sees a great advantage of hiring from the inside.
“For me, Jason deserved this opportunity,” said O’Shea. “We appreciate continuity, but he also had to be the right guy. It’s not just “hey, we are just going to go with continuity on talent”.
“He knows our staff. He has a great belief in the way we do things. Regarding the game book, he will put his own brand there, but I do not think it will be a brand new language that the offense must learn. »»
League revenues increasing last season, the LCF announced on Wednesday that the salary ceiling increased by more than $ 410,000 to $ 6.1 million for 2025.
But it is a day late and a short dollar for the bombers after the receiver Kenny Lawler has already bolted. Lawler verbally accepted the terms of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, but cannot officially sign a new contract before the start of the free agency on Tuesday.
“It would generally be mentioned as one of the best receivers in our league each year when it plays,” said O’Shea. “It is extremely dynamic. Its capture radius is incredible. He’s a nice guy in the room. I think anyone threw him for a lot of faith, it is because he will fall with football.
“You always miss guys like that.”
