With Ruben Amorim now in charge, Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United could begin to take shape during the 2024-25 season. Despite the change in management, transfer rumors continue to circulate.
In October, TEAMtalk reported that Paris Saint-Germain have reignited their interest in Rashford. Although the same challenges that blocked a summer transfer remain, the Ligue 1 club could revisit the issue next year.
The same media also noted that PSG coach Luis Enrique is a big admirer of Rashford and believes he can help the striker get back to his best form.
Another reason why Man Utd want to sell Marcus Rashford
The telegraph (h/t AS Journal) took a closer look at why Manchester United remain open to selling Marcus Rashford. At Old Trafford, there are doubts about the striker’s lifestyle, and they believe he is no longer as focused on football as he used to be.
Florian Plettenberg from Sky Sports Germany recently reported that the Red Devils are considering selling Rashford, potentially as early as the winter transfer window, with a final decision expected by the summer.
While the club recognizes his progress under Amorim, they do not consider him untouchable. A key factor in this decision is his high salary. Allowing Rashford to leave would help ease Financial Fair Play restrictions, giving Manchester United more flexibility in the transfer market.
Rashford is under contract until 2028 and Transfer market estimates its value at 60 million euros. The 27-year-old has scored seven goals and registered three assists in 23 matches in all competitions.
