NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Crews with the Spring Hill Fire Department (SHFD) investigated a strong odor of smoke at a nearby business.
On Saturday evening, shortly after 10 p.m., workers in the 5400 block of Main Street noticed the odor and contacted the SHFD.
When SHFD crews arrived on scene, they found heavy black smoke on the roof on both sides of the building.
During their investigation, they determined that a heating malfunction in an oil burner caused the smoky conditions and no other hazards were found in the building.
