Main Street Gainesville officials monitor community members to locate science resources and assets within the city.
The city center of Gainesville announced via social networks On Tuesday, he joined Elachee Nature Science Center and Gainesville Parks and Recreation to launch the project to map scientific assets. The evaluation comes after Main Street Gainesville received a subsidy of scientific discovery of the Simons foundation based in New York.
The Simons Foundation finances projects to advance research on mathematics and basic sciences within communities. The grant program aims to collaborate with the communities on the main street to help them discover scientific resources – linked to the region.
Main Street Gainesville was one of the 12 beneficiaries of the national subsidy of $ 12,500.
The POST explained that the investigation responses will help managers plan for future programs and events related to scientific discovery in downtown Gainesville.
