Magenta Light, The Upstart Production and Distribution Company founded by the winner of Oscar Bob Yariestablished a dynamic partnership with Evoke Entertainment and Freefall Films.
The multi -year agreement will cover co -production, co -financing and theatrical distribution for independent films, both national and global. The joint venture will start with an objective of four features per year, with several titles already in the development or production phase.
Magenta Light’s flagship film was the genre thriller acclaimed by last summer’s criticism, “Strange Darling”. They recently released “Bride Hard” by Rebel Wilson. Evoke, formerly known as the Entertainment Cartel, is behind the Multi-season “Creepshow” by Shudder and Michael Douglas’s next drama “Looking Through Water”. Freefall has produced action rates such as the “Guns, Girls and Gambling” by Gary Oldman.
Yari will direct the interior distribution strategy and serve as co-financial and main producer. Stan Spry of Evoke will oversee production services, packaging and financing contribution as well as production. Freefall’s Boger will take development, packaging and production.
“This partnership concerns alignment – shared values, creative integrity and a commitment to a powerful narration. I could not be more excited to give life to this vision with Stan and Henry,” said Yari.
Spry added that his counterparts were mentors and inspirations, and Boger concluded that the company “will open doors to rich and intrepid emotional stories”.

“Les Saurnes”

A supernatural western set in the American border of 1869. The film follows a haunted ex -Gunter and a Paiute warrior as they confront a merciless terrestrial baron – and the mythical “savages”, vengeful minds awakened by violence and greed.
