Luc Combs has openly expressed her desire to be healthier for the sake of her two young sons, Tex, two, and Beau, 16 months. But even he didn’t expect his health journey to take this particular turn.
“Surprisingly, this is the least country thing I’ve ever said: (I’m) gluten-free now,” the singer said. ABC News last month.

But Combs also says her decision to go gluten-free had more to do with her mental well-being than her physical health. The singer – who fight against obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) – said he noticed “very serious” symptoms during a break from work this summer.
Combs says he took a “deep dive” into his health to manage his “crippling” symptoms, and completed a food sensitivity test that revealed a “very high sensitivity” to gluten.

Today, the singer reveals that removing gluten from his diet has had powerful positive effects on his mental health.
“Since I eliminated that, it’s changed my life mentally,” Combs says.
His journey to better health is “a long road,” the singer admits, saying, “I struggle with it every day.
“Longevity is the goal,” he adds. “Every day you spend with (your children) is really fun and challenging, and you have to be your best self to take care of them the way you feel they deserve to be taken care of. them.”
