Love’s Travel Stops named Tim Langley-Hawthorne as a new technology director, with immediate effect. In the role, he will fall under the president of Love, Shane Wharton, and will be responsible for the alignment of technology on the overall strategy of the company, the conduct of product development and the promotion of technical innovation, including the deployment of artificial intelligence.
Langley-Hawthorne has more than 30 years of experience in the technology sector. He joined Love’s from the HERTZ rental car giant, where he has been director of information since November 2021. He previously spent time in technological leadership roles in Hitachi Vantara and Western Union, including as information director at Hitachi Vantara for almost two years.
