The Agency, a Los Angeles-based women’s lifestyle brand with a celebrity following, has opened its first Texas store in Houston’s River Oaks district.
The store, which combines “a California lifestyle with a French attitude,” sells clothing ranging from denim and cocktail outfits to swimwear, shoes and accessories. Celebrities who wear the brand include Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez, Lily Collins and Martha Stewart, according to the company.
The brand, established in 2008, is available in approximately 300 stores, including Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Revolve and Harrods.
“We have a dedicated customer base in Houston and by offering our full lifestyle categories, we allow them to shop the full breadth of The Agency in one place,” said President and Co-Founder Jeff Rudes in a press release.
The 1,335 square foot boutique at 4444 Westheimer joins other branded locations in Los Angeles, New York, Paris and Seoul. The next store will open this month at Fashion Island in Newport Beach, California. Additional U.S. locations in key markets will be announced in 2025, the company said.
