Live Nation Entertainment welcomes the FTC’s efforts to impose all-inclusive pricing nationwide. In 2023, Live Nation led the industry in moving all of its venues and festivals in the United States to all-inclusive pricing, providing greater transparency for fans while increasing artist sales and reducing the number baskets abandoned at checkouts. We’ve seen benefits for fans in all 33 states, as well as Washington, DC, where Live Nation operates venues.
Live Nation Entertainment has long urged the government to impose all-inclusive pricing for the concert industry. In June 2019, at the FTC’s public workshop, “That’s the Ticket,” we made clear publicly that the industry should adopt pro-consumer protections, including price and fee transparency.
In response to the FTC’s latest industry-wide global pricing mandate, Live Nation released the following statement:
