Linda Cardellini has reserved a new role as a killer.
THE Dead for me Star should play Pam Voorhees in Peacock‘s Friday 13 Extended prequel dramatic series Crystal lake.
Fans of the longtime Slasher series will know that the original 1980 film which started followed everything followed a group of adolescent camp advisers who are murdered one by one by one serial killer while they are trying to reopen Camp Crystal Lake, an abandoned summer destination where a young boy drowned.
The end of the film reveals that the killer is none other than Pamela Voorhees, played by Betsy Palmer, who wanted to avenge the death of her son, Jason, who, according to her, drowned while the advisers had sex instead of looking at him and preventing the camp from reopening. The slasher has also played Kevin Bacon, Adrienne King, Harry Crosby, Jeannine Taylor and Mark Nelson.
The original Friday 13Directed by Sean S. Cunningham and written by Victor Miller, makes one, ahemKilling at the box office – Increasing almost $ 60 million against a declared budget of only $ 550,000. We don’t know much else about the Crystal lake Series, but Brad Caleb Kane (IT: Welcome to Derry,, Tokyo vice,, Warrior) will be a creator, writer, showrunner and executive producer. The A24 is also executive production. Miller is also on board as an executive producer with Marc Toberoff, Robert M. Barsamian, Robert P. Barsamian and Stuart Manashil. A24 is the studio.
The series has been in hell for several years. It was announced for the first time in October 2022, with Bryan Fuller (Hannibal) Announced at the time as a showrunner, writer and executive producer.
