Aljamain Sterling Do not think that a new feeling of discipline will help
Sean O’malley (18-2) against Merab Dvalishvili (19-4).
O’malley has always been known for his flashy lifestyle, which included smoking marijuana. However, things have
apparently changed For “Suga” since he lost his title against Dvalishvili in UFC 306 Last year.
O’malley will have the chance to recover his title against Dvalishvili in the main event at UFC 316
On June 7 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The former champion, quite unusual, recently thanked Dvalishvili for having made him a better fighter and a human being by beating him. O’malley also claims to have introduced major lifestyle changes in his revenge match against “the machine”. O’malley claims that he has not masturbated or smoked from marijuana this year.
However, Dvalishvili’s teammate, Sterling, does not think that all matters. The former rooster weight champion thinks that all this will eventually be summed up with a difference in skills. If anything, “Funkmaster” thinks that O’malley could probably feel good not to leave any stone not returned to prepare for the revenge match.
“I don’t think it will necessarily make a big difference for O’malley … I don’t think it will be the difference manufacturer,” said Sterling on the podcast “The Weekly Scraps”. “It is the set of skills. Can you face the pressure and the rhythm of a guy like Merab? … not j -id the peen, abandoning marijuana – I don’t know that these things will make a big difference. Maybe he will feel better than he has done everything that is possible under the sun to get this victory. But does that really count?
While O’malley has not fought since his loss of title, Dvalishvili defended the belt against an undefeated before Umar Nurmagomedov has UFC 311
Earlier this year.
