Bronx, ny. -Leo Stern, who was an assistant and packaging coach at the center of Michigan last year, was appointed Men’s Men’s Men’s Men’s Basketball Director of the Male Basketball Sports Performance, he was announced by head coach Mike Magpayo.
“We are extremely lucky to add a high-energy motivation factor to Leo Stern to direct the strength and packaging program for our male basketball students,” said Magpayo. “Leo will offer the attention and discipline of the elite in our performance and our nutrition.”
In central Michigan in 2024-25, Stern worked directly with male basketball teams and male golf.
Stern joined the CMU force and packaging staff after working for two years with the male basketball and male golf teams at the Northern Alabama University in Florence, Alberta.
He also worked previously at the University of Kentucky as a force and packaging trainee, serving football and male basketball teams. He also acquired experience at the College of the Holy Cross, Carthage College and Tokyo, Japan.
Stern obtained his baccalaureate in the Carthage College Sports Sports Sciences in 2021. His certifications include a specialist certified in force and conditioning by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Functional Movement Screen, Precision Nutrition and USA Hallowinglifting.
