Producer of “CoComelon” Moonbug Entertainment entered into an agreement with an early childhood learning company Lingokids to launch games featuring characters from Moonbug’s popular live-action preschool brand”Blipp.”
The “Blippi” franchise – which includes multiple shows across all platforms – follows the title character as he serves as a “best friend” to preschoolers and “inspires them to learn through play with content and experiences fun and engaging games he creates,” including backyard science, the rainforest, a race track, and even space.
The deal with Moonbug for “Blippi” games marks the first time Lingokids, launched in 2015, has partnered to integrate outside intellectual property into its Lingokids app, which it says is used by more than 100 million families in the world.
According to Moonbug and Lingokids, “the new content will integrate the company’s proven educational methodology with Moonbug’s engaging characters. These interactive experiences will focus on developing essential skills including vocabulary, logic, creativity and emotional intelligence for children ages 2-8.
New games featuring Blippi and friends are now available in the Lingokids app, with more content launching in the coming months.
Owned by Kevin Mayer and Tom Staggs Candle MediaMoonbug Entertainment offers a range of popular preschool programs, including “Blippi” and “CoComelon,” available on more than 150 video platforms worldwide, including Netflix, Disney+, BBC iPlayer and YouTube Kids.

Viedma says the team is in talks with Moonbug Entertainment, as well as other children’s media companies, for more opportunities to build Lingokids app games around existing popular intellectual property.
