Global News learns more about the search mandate executed Sunday evening at the East Vancouver house of the Kai-ji Adam Lo murder suspect.
A dozen officers arrived at the residence just before 7:30 p.m.
Most have entered the house, some armed with boxes. An officer could be seen taking pictures from the outside of the residence. It is not known exactly what was removed from the house, but police sources told Global News that they were looking for electronics, such as computers, tablets and phones.
Police also spent time in a separate house nearby on Sunday. The resident told us that he was linked to the recovery of their surveillance images.

LO mental health interactions with the police have been significant, much superior to 50, according to sources.
Vancouver’s police sergeant. Steve Addison said: “I can confirm that Kai-ji Lo had contacts with the police in a neighboring jurisdiction on April 25, the day before the vehicle attack. This contact was not of a criminal nature and it did not reach the level where mental health intervention was necessary. ”

In 2024, LO’s brother was murdered and shortly after his mother’s suicide attempt. The neighbors say that they were aware of the problems at home, one saying that they sometimes heard the cries of the house and that the police cars were sometimes there.
LO is accused of eight second degree murder leaders and is expected to face additional charges. He remains in detention.
