Lafayette, ny – The Country Club Lafayette will turn into a life style community. The 160 -acres property will turn into houses, a 9 -hole golf course, cycle paths, artificial lakes and much more.
The project plan started two years ago and awaits the approval of the city.
The community of lifestyle will be intended for Micron workers, who are one of the main reasons for this addition of the community. Micron, an American IT data company, will bring more than 50,000 workers in the center of New York. More accommodation will be necessary with this large influx of people to come.
In phase 1 of the project, 260 multiple and unified houses should be built. Houses vary from $ 350,000 to $ 1 million and executive houses will also be available for millions of dollars.
The clubhouse will only be for residents, but most of the other amenities in the planned community will be for public use.
Kassie Smith, B3R development partner, the project developer, said that people coming to the region could leave houses where they still owe a mortgage. For this reason, the B3R has set up a program.
“We give them 12 to 24 months, and the rental program itself goes directly to a receipt account,” said Smith. “After 12 to 24 months, whatever in their budget, they are tried.”
“It goes towards their decomposition, and they have a house,” continued Smith.
