A satellite location of the Goodland brewery comes out of the city orbit.

Kickred Spirit will continue to operate in West Creek as usual.

John Barefoot said that the opportunity to open satellite occurred through an existing relationship with the owner of the Ownby Lane Building, the Crenshaw-Singleton Properties downtown, who also owns Goodland Building’s Goodland. This familiarity also made it easier to close this week.
“We had an agreement to run there. They were pleasant to let us go out with a flexible rental agreement,” said John Barefoot.
The opportunity to take control of the 5,600 square feet clean space came at the end of 2023 when Castleburg Brewery and Taproom closed after eight years in business.
