Morehead, Ky. – Women’s basketball sophomore Kate Novik Was honored with an academic distinction of all districts for the 2024-25 season, as awarded by the organization of Sports College communicators.
The sports information directors of the Collège d’Amérique (COSIDA) began the All-America® academic studies program in 1952, and since then has honored thousands of deserving students with many sports in all divisions with these university university honors All-America® Elite. In 2022, Cosida renamed himself as university sports communicators.
Currently, the CSC is sponsoring All-America® academic programs for male football, women’s football, football, tennis, volleyball, male basketball, female basketball, baseball, softball, swimming and diving and the female male and female female field. Many other sports are eligible as part of the large program. In 2022, the guidelines were updated to include more representation in the teams of all districts. Sports have limits to the number of athletes who can be nominated and the minimum average of the point of notes has been increased to 3.50.

Novik, from Grodno, Bélarus, led Morehead State in points (13.5 / match), rebounds (6.0 / match), assists (117 in total) and interceptions (59) in 24 games played. It finished 43% precision on the field for the season and reached 80% of its free throws. She scored two figures 19 times and has scored more than 20 times.
She is only the fourth student athlete of basketball Eagle to be named academic.
