Learn more about new facilities
The complex site will be in a batch next to the central buildings of the transport and support services from Lisd to Cedar Park off New Hope Road west of Lakeline Boulevard. The construction of these buildings is made possible by the Bond of 2023. The facilities inaugurated in December and should open the fall of 2025.
Lily Scientific materials center Creates ready -to -use science kits for all classrooms for elementary schools in the district to provide students with practical learning. While the district has increased in the number of elementary classrooms, the existing SMC warehouse has become too small for the storage and distribution of materials. The new installation will also house teaching materials in the new warehouse space.
THE 18+ transitional services program Provides young adults aged 18 to 22, with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful transition to community and adult life.
A perfect couple, the creation of the new building for these programs of each other on the same batch will still adapt to learning opportunities in the workplace available for more than 18 students of transitional services at the Material Center.
As a resource to the # 1lisd community to find out more about these projects and follow their progress, the district has created a Page of surety and construction projects. The specific project pages include a global scope of the project, the state of the project, a calendar, information on entrepreneurs and suppliers, etc.
