The elderly and those who support them will learn to adopt and live the lifestyle of longevity in the monthly monthly meeting of the council of seniors of the county of Douglas (SCDC) on Thursday March 6 at the library of the county of Douglas, Hall Event, 20105 E. Mainstreet, Parker. This meeting is free and open to the public.
Presenter Kelly O’Connor is a award -winning and highly qualified leader in the aging services industry. Well known for her TEDX speech on longevity, she has a 15 -year career in care for the elderly.
O’Connor will explain the longevity industry that has emerged and extended worldwide since humans live a longer life. She has recently been appointed Vice-President of Strategic Partnerships and Growth of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors and editor-in-chief of the CSA Journal.
O’Connor states, “Personal health care with multi-generational life, I will provide clues and ideas about the way of life successfully in the long term.”
In other news, plans are underway for another educational event of a day, vintage and dynamic 2025, on September 17 at the New Highlands Ranch Senior Center. This event will offer several interactive experiences and informative presentations all designed for the elderly. Save the date!
