Bu ff aliga, ny – The mayor of Bu ff alte, Christopher P. Scanlon, announced today that the city of Bu ff alumors a new program of subsidies for small businesses and officially establishes the first consulting firm in small businesses in the city, both aimed at supporting small businesses, revitalizing the districts and strengthening the key commercial keys of the city.

Small BU ff alters continue to deal with a range of economic pressures, including the increase in operational costs, access limited to capital and external uncertainties such as changes in federal commercial policy. The new city’s subsidy program is designed to help small businesses along our commercial corridors to respond to these challenges while strengthening the virtual corridors – critical connectors that connect residents to jobs, goods and services.

“Small businesses are the backbone of our neighborhoods and a vital part of the bush economy”, ” said mayor Scanlon. “While we continue to revitalize the communities of our city, we must make sure that our owners of small businesses – in particular those who operate in historically unprecedented areas – have the resources they need not only to survive, but to prosper.”

The Small Enterprise Graduate program will be funded through the Federal Community Development Subsidy (CDBG) and is part of the City’s continuous commitment to inclusive economic growth. A total of $ 566,000 in city -scale financing was allocated to support this e ff ort.

Thanks to the program, small companies eligible with 1 to 50 employees can request up to

$ 20,000 in financial assistance for working capital needs, including payments, rent or mortgage payments, public services, production or resale stocks, marketing and professional services.

In addition to the Small Business Subsidies program on the city level, Bryan Bollman, Chairman of the Common Council of Common Council, Bryan Bollman, allocates $ 88,000 in discretionary funds for the members of the Council to support small businesses in the Bu ff al. The Lovejoy Small Business subsidy program is designed to help companies on vandalism and continuous economic challenges by providing funding for cosmetic repairs and operational expenses.

“Small businesses are the heart rate of our community, and the maintenance of dynamic and accessible commercial corridors has always been one of my priorities. said the Chairman of the Common Bu ff alter Council and the member of the LOVEjoy district council, Bryan Bollman.

Last month, to celebrate small businesses, the mayor Scanlon announced the creation of the advisory firm which is made up of owners of small businesses and community leaders of the nine districts of the Council to advise the Town Hall on the needs of local entrepreneurs and help to shape policies that promote inclusive economic growth.

The small business firm includes 18 members of all the nine districts of the Council. This cabinet will meet every quarters to advise the mayor and the city on the problems faced by companies in the city of Bu ff al and develop solutions together.

The members of the small businesses’ advisory firm represent a transverse cut in the dynamic entrepreneurial community of BU ff al. The cabinet includes:

These business leaders cover all the districts of the Council and will bring their experience and their insight to the table while the city works to develop policies that support the growth, equity and sustainability of small businesses throughout the city.
