What the city’s sports grounds have closed – all the praised fields in the city, including the land of the city’s schools, are closed for the time indicated. No one should use the fields when closed. If it is found that an authorized league uses a closed field, the potential to be sentenced to a fine and / or a loss of use for the season is likely. If an unstructed user uses a closed field, a warning and / or a quote will be issued.

* Please note that closings are published on the city’s website www.cityoffrederick.comand the public information line at 301-600-6970 Option 3. Closures are published before 2 p.m. on weekdays and 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Note! Interested parties can now register for e-mail or text alerts for land closings by connecting to the city’s website to www.cityoffrederick.com. The easiest way to register is to click on “Display all” under press releases on the main page. Then, on the right side, you should see “tell me” – click on it. Then you can add your email address and specify the groups you want to receive messages and if you just want to send an email or an email and a phone.
