Craven County – Craven Community College (Craven CC) is delighted to announce a range of interactive events for Stem week, which takes place on the campuses of the new Bern, Havelock and Volt Center. Each location will offer a free and engaging event filled with practical learning opportunities adapted to all ages.

Secondary students and their families are invited to join us for an open day at the Volt Center! The emphasis will be placed on the clean energy trades, the CVC and the electric fields, with visits available for the participants.
Science: Every day, everywhere, everyone

Children of all ages are invited to an evening filled with practical activities that highlight the science present in our daily life. Activities will include sunglasses, tiny terrariums, can you taste it ?, Fractal Building: The Menger Cube, The Microworld and become a community scientist. This event is part of the NC Science Festival.
Engineering of your future: NC State Engineering Info Night

Secondary and college students, as well as their families, are encouraged to explore local engineering opportunities, including the Craven Community Craven Engineering Partner and NC State Havelock Engineering Program. Learn what engineering really involves, how it is distinguished from other STEM disciplines and exciting career paths available in eastern North Carolina. This event is also part of the NC Science Festival.
