IGN Entertainment confirmed the official dates of its IGN Live fans event from June 7 to 8, and Ticket sales are now open. Last year, the event hosted more than 100 studio partners in the world of games and entertainment, and the shows of its stages were divided worldwide in streaming.
“We are delighted with the return of IGN Live next June,” said Michael Peyton, IGN principal editorial director, events and entertainment.
“Last year, we saw fans of all ages come together for a huge party celebrating games, films, television, comics, collectibles and more and we plan that this year, the event will be greater and better than ever. We are looking forward to fans from June 7 to 8 and through IGN platforms for anyone who cannot be there in person.”
During its first year, IGN Live welcomed the developers, publishers and stars of The World of Entertainment. Phil Spencer of Xbox went on stage for a live interview, the distribution of the Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power seemed to talk about the show, and the game studios like Blumhouse have held sessions talking about future games. Beyond the stage show, there were more than 100 playing stations at the show, 10,000 gifts and millions around the world that could not go to the event in person looking at the rivers of the performance.
The training for this year is still under Wraps, but with summer always marking a huge press and marketing opportunity for the game industry, expect to see a mixture of familiar IP and rising stars.
