Age: 37

Growing up, the race has always been a challenge for me. I was the slowest child of all my sports teams and I have always feared the physical fitness test at Mile at school. So, I have never imagined going from obesity to the marathon runner!
After a traumatic pregnancy with my daughter, I took possession of my health. I said goodbye to around 100 pounds, and hello to a new lifestyle with a passion for the race.
It will be my first Boston marathon, the fourth total marathon and the 19th state that I finished a race race! I direct Boston, my favorite city, to help celebrate my transformation of well-being and inspire others to make positive choices to support their own spirit and their body well-being.
I am so excited to introduce you to the Boston Medical Center which makes considerable contributions to be a leader for the health and well-being of Boston and beyond! BMC has been part of the Boston Marathon Charity Program since 2005 and has since collected $ 10 million to support innovations in care and research.
Each stage of my 26.2 mile towards the finish line will be joyful for travel and enthusiasm for health and well-being.
