  • I am the mother of two who started Shopping in Aldi To save money.
  • Recently, I exchanged some of my family’s favorite grocery articles with Aldi products.
  • The only exchange that my children noticed was the change of stacy’s at Pita Pita in Clancy.

Thanks to the rise in prices and two growing children, I recently started shopping at Aldi to help Reduce grocery costs.

The grocer on a low budget has his quirks – as required a quarter to use a basket – but overall, I was very satisfied with Aldi’s offers.

Last month, I decided to buy Aldi versions of my family favorite grocery products, and it worked better than I could have hoped.

I saved money, especially since I usually buy multiple of these articles every week. Oh, and the best part: my children only noticed one change.

Prices may vary depending on the location.

Happy Farms New York Sharp Cheddar Cheese is our new Go-To.

An exhibition of happy farms New York Cheddar Sharp Cheddar in Aldi.

We eat a lot of sandwiches, quesadillas and toasted cheese, so I still buy a few houses at the same time.

Megan Harrington

I used to pay around $ 2.90 for an 8 ounce of New York Extra Sharp Cheddar Cabot. Now, I buy an 8 ounce of Farms Happy Farms New York Sharp Cheddar for around $ 2.10 at Aldi.

We found that this cheese melts well and has the taste of the pointed cheddar that we love. Whether eaten with crackers or added to a grilled cheeseNo one seemed to notice the difference.

We have officially exchanged Barilla for the Reggano pasta.

Reggano Rotini pasta bags and Farfalle noodles.

We usually eat these pasta with meatballs and sauce, but it also works very well in refrigerated pasta salads.

Megan Harrington

I used to pay around $ 2.20 for a box of 1 book by Barilla Rotini in my local supermarket. At Aldi, however, the box of the same size of Reggano-Brand Rotini costs a little less than $ 1.

In my opinion, dry staples like pasta and rice are a good place to exchange in generic brands. I served the Aldi Rotini with Marinara sauce and my children swallowed it up.

My family and I love the pockets of apple compote friends.

The compressible apple compote pockets are the perfect portable snack.

Megan Harrington

I carry a pocket of apple compote in my Lunch boxes for children Every day – and sometimes eat them myself when I am on the go. So we cross them quickly.

I bought a pack of 4 Gogo Squeez pockets for about $ 3.60, but now I buy a pack of 12 friends covers for about $ 6.30, which saves me approximately $ 0.37 per pocket.

My children eat sachets of Gogo Squeez apple compote since they were babies, so I was surprised that they did not notice the new brand.

Nature’s organic seed bread was simply an incredible taste.

This bread has a good amount of fiber and protein.

Megan Harrington

I bought a miche of 20.5 ounces of organic bread with Dave killing bread at just under $ 6. Now, I receive a miche of 20.4 ounces of bread with a simply natural organic seed for about $ 3.30, which looks like a real flight.

Even my 6 -year -old child’s difficult child loves it (seeds and everything). It is in finely sliced slices, which is perfect for children, and I like it to have a decent amount of proteins and fibers.

Friendly farm yogurt drinks are a great breakfast option.

Yogurt drinks are an excellent quick breakfast on busy mornings.

Megan Harrington

In the morning, when we get rid of to go to school and work on time, these drinking yogurts are a Quick and nutritious breakfast. I generally buy at least a dozen bottles at a time.

I used to pay a little less than $ 2 for a bottle of 7 ounces of drink with chobani yogurt. Now I pay about $ 1.50 for the same bottle of the same size of the Friendly Farms version in Aldi.

The mixture of Millville protein pancakes is super versatile.

This mixture is filled with protein, so it keeps us full for hours.

Megan Harrington

My family and I love the versatility of Millville protein pancake mixing. We think it’s great for pancakes, waffles and muffins.

A box of 20 ounces of Millville protein pancakes costs around $ 3.80, while the 18 ounce box of the Kodiak Cakes protein mixture that I used costs around $ 6.40. So, I save about $ 0.17 per ounce.

The only article on which my children were not sold was the Pita chips of Clancy.

My children did not like the Pita chips from Clancy as much as they like the Pita chips from Stacy.

Megan Harrington

My family is used to Pita in Stacy (about $ 4.60 for a 7 ounce bag). From our experience, they resist Thick dips like Houmous And salsa, and have the perfect amount of salt.

However, we decided to try the bag of 7 ounces cheaper from Clancy’s Pita Chips for around $ 2.20. I thought they had a pretty good taste and were thin and crisp.

However, my children preferred the warmer crunch of the Stacy brand.
