With overdose crisis propagation, staff and students at Saskatchewan University And University of Regina are trained on how to administer the naloxone.

In a statement made to Global News, the University of Regina said that all protective service agents are trained to administer Naloxone. Each officer will carry two doses at any time, if he had to administer it.

At the University of Saskatchewan, the Chelsea Korpan-Sparks Mefan Reduction Advisor offers a free course to staff and students each month. These classes teach participants how to administer Naloxone And how to spot someone with potential overdose.
