The former LSU baseball coach, Paul Mainieri, left perfect with his new team.
Mainieroi led the South Carolina to a 3-0 file on the opening weekend and a victory on Tuesday. The Gamecocks won Sacred Heart in the three -game series and recorded a victory in Winthrop.
In her home opening match, the South Carolina took an advance of 3-0 and scored two points late after Sacred Heart equalized the scoring in sixth round. The Gamecocks obtained a bleaching at once during a 14-0 victory on Saturday, then laundered the pioneers again with an 8-0 victory on Sunday.
Tuesday in Winthrop, the two teams scored two points and the match was tied. In half at home in the fourth round, Winthrop took an advance in a race, but the rest of the game belonged to the Gamecocks. They scored three unanswered points between the fifth and sixth images to seal the victory.
Mainieri’s recruitment was announced on June 11, 2024. During his 15 seasons in LSU, he made five World Series appearances and won six SEC tournaments and 10 regional NCAA championships. He also led the Tigers to the 2009 national championship and finished second in 2017. The team won at least one championship in 11 of the Seasons of Mainieri.
Thanks to stops in St. Thomas, Air Force, Notre Dame and LSU, Mainieri has accumulated enough victories to classify it first among the active coaches of division I with 1,505. He is twice coach of the year of the dry and quadruple national coach of the year. Under the surveillance of Mainieri, LSU players were recognized as All-Americans from the first team 13 times and chosen in the recovery of the MLB 90 times.
