Nashville, Tennessee, has turned to his reputation as “Music City” into a large American metro thanks to fast population growth, employment opportunities in key industries such as health care and technology and good quality of life.
This is now one of fastest-The American cities, with a diverse community and a competitive economy.
“It’s not just the economy. This is our climate here,” said John Eldridge, founder and CEO of the E3 Construction Services development company. “It’s our culture here. It is our location.”
Some of the biggest names in technology such as Amazon And Oracle have also invested in the region, fueling rapid technological expansion. Oracle developed a campus of $ 1.4 billion in Nashville for its world headquarters, and Amazon has rented more than a million square feet of office space in the city center – in addition to opening an operations center on the east coast of $ 230 million in 2018.
According to a joint report by Great Nashville Technology Council and the Middle Tennessee State University, the number of technological jobs in the Nashville region increased by 17% between 2017 and 2022.
“We found that we could locate here, we found that we could find the talent here,” said Amazon vice-president of world economic development Holly Sullivan, adding that the state of Tennessee and the city of Nashville had very favorable business policies. “When you find it, you want to double this.”
Many other business giants have been recruited in the region thanks to the city’s 10 -year strategy that is improved every decades. Under the plan, more than 600,000 jobs have been created since 1990 and revenues per capita in the region have increased by more than 234%, according to the American work statistics.
Commercial and residential real estate has boomingAlthough the city has struggled to follow enough affordable housing. Nashville ranked among the cities with the highest increase in the prices of houses between 2014 and 2024, according to to the coverage of the construction.
