Sid Singh
Team: women’s rugby
Event:: College Rugby Association of America First 7S National Championship
Date: May 2-3
The women’s rugby dreams of a national championship were destroyed last year. After being undefeated in their four swimming pool games in the CRAA 7 National Championship, The Big Green lost a sorrow against the University of Lindenwood in the semi-finals. The Lions were a familiar enemy since the teams met in the semi-finals in 2023 and the final in 2022. Each time, Lindenwood put an end to the Dartmouth championship activities.
Next week in Indianapolis, the Sevens rugby team will have the chance to overcome the bump in the CRAA 7S national championship. The team was close to its fall and spring seasons, with its only defeat all year round against Harvard University in the Nira championship. They are also freshly managed to claim their second consecutive title from Ivy League 7, where they took revenge for Crimson – the national champions reigning – with a rout of 27-5 in the final.
The only achievement to be made for the legendary team is a national championship. Hamas of redemption for three years, and having dominated their competition Ivy League, the stars are aligned for the women’s rugby team to win everything.
