Governor Kathy Hochul says that she would fight federal government’s teeth and nails to protect the health and well-being of New Yorkers to sweep the federal cuts that will toll $ 300 million in New York.
Hochul says that the Public Health, Mental Health and Dexicomania Cups in New York will be devastating throughout the state.
These cuts are part of a plan announced Wednesday by the Trump administration to withdraw $ 11.4 billion in COVID-19 funds for local public health services and other organizations across the country. The Ministry of Health and Social Services says that it will stop spending money to respond to what it claims to be a non -existent pandemic.
Hochul claims that the cuts will have an impact on the New York State Health Department, the support and services of the Toxicomania and Office of Mental Health office.
