Health innovators have advanced technology at AAPA 2025
Renewrx leaders, Affineon Health and Eon Health share revolutionary innovations
May 17, 2025

The first event on stage of the 2025 AAPA was launched today by the president of the Colorado Academy of Pas, A’lanne Conrad and the president of AAPA, Jason Prevelige. “The steps take extraordinary things every day – in all the contexts, each specialty and each state,” said the president and president of the AAPA of the board of directors Jason Prevege, DMSC, MBA, PA -C, DFAAPA. “This week is to celebrate this impact, to build and feed the continuation.”
In addition, the CEO of AAPA, Lisa Gables, spoke of innovation in health care – and how the step can lead. “What if the future of health care is not a choice between compassion and technology, but a chance to use both to provide better care?” Said Gables. “Not can afford to sit down and watch this development from the key line.”
The winners of the inaugural hackathon of the 2025 AAPA were also announced. For the first time at an AAPA conference, students PAS and PA gathered to solve problems and develop solutions for this year: food is medicine. The winning team, “Food for Me, Food for You”, included Pa Kristin Batla, the student Pa Julie Lane, the pre-P-Olivia Ye, the student Pa Tracy Rangel, Pa Betsy Piburn and the student Pa Abbie Meyer.

The team has developed an idea for a personalized platform compatible with AI which extend the scope of clinicians and improve nutritional results.
How innovation of health care can work for you
In a showcase organized by Jessica Damassa, designer and animation of the What is the future, health? Podcast, the participants had an overview of advanced technology and revolutionary innovations that will shape the future of health care and AP practice.
Renewal
Kari Cao, PA-C, MHS, NFC, founder and CEO of Renewal Has more than a decade of medical experience. As a supplier of primary care for vulnerable populations and a chief of natural food formed, it offers a unique perspective on holistic care centered on the patient, the optimization of health by the commitment of patients, the improvement of lifestyle and nutrition.
From gestational diabetes, renewal is designed to transform maternal health, allowing women to take control of their health, to break the cycle of avoidable complications and to ensure healthier pregnancies.
Although nutrition and lifestyle changes can considerably reduce complications such as gestational diabetes, providers have no time and resources to offer the personalized support that patients need.
“There is innovation in each of us,” said Cao. “It’s your time to think: how can I change the spectrum of health care?”
Affineon Health
Affine is an agent of the AI reception box which sorts a clinical reception box, under the direction of the supplier, to automatically manage the results of the laboratory and the prescription renewals, reducing the daily volume of the reception box from 30 to 80% – so that clinical teams can spend less time in the reception box and more time with patients.
The co-founder and CEO David Norris went on stage and discussed the importance of finding solutions that meet suppliers where they are, without forcing the change in a significant way their way of practicing.
“The pace of the adoption of innovation in health care is faster than ever,” said Norris. “This is the most exciting moment to be in health care, because we actually make a difference. It is no longer theoretical.”

Health Eon
Eon was founded in 2015 by Dr Aki Alzubaidi, an interventional pulmonologist, who had direct treatment for patients with lung cancer. After years on the front line, he broke the heart of the founder of Dr. Aki to see how many patients could be diagnosed earlier if only there were smarter care plan systems.
“Find the problem in your clinic and see if it’s a problem elsewhere. Go ahead,” said Dr. Aki. “If you are thinking of starting a business as a clinician, continue the” wow “.”
Eon is associated with more than 60 health systems, including five of the 10 largest in the country. It is deployed in more than 1,000 installations and has hyper-growth with plans to significantly extend the extent of the diseases it affects. Its software as a service solutions (SaaS) uses the DME and other third -party data to identify and classify patients at risk for a wide range of catastrophic diseases, then create smart care plans in order to obtain the right patient with good care at the right time.
Participants left this session equipped with ideas and knowledge to take advantage of these tools that can make health care more efficient, fair and human.
Do not miss the second main stage event of AAPA, Momentum in medicine: reconnect, recharge and have an impactMonday, May 19.
