At Harbor Palms, an oasis by the sea in Marathon, in Florida, life outdoors is not a reflection after the fact – it is at the heart of a complete design of the house. Built to kiss the dynamic beauty of coastal life, this luxury property with five bedrooms with five bathrooms is balanced elegance with daily features.
With direct access to the ocean, a luxurious pool and spa, and outdoor areas carefully planned for cooking, lounge and entertainment, the house has always been supposed to be a celebration of the lifestyle of the keys, which includes frequent entertainment of community events at family meetings. And in the center of the property design balance is a powerful but subtle design choice: integrated exterior lighting and audio.
The complete construction of port palm trees lasted two years from the concept to completion with lighting and audio systems – provided by Source assignment–DEING installed in a few weeks due to the detailed planning of DE ASIGN Source and the mouth cable and the coastal source and the direct cabbing.

D’Asign Source indicates that almost all the external characteristics have been improved with carefully chosen lighting products. Along the balconies and the large roof terrace, the two companies point out that the integrated white niche lights offer a sweet and ambient ambient glow that lights the path without reflections. At the bottom, each step is lit by rows of visually discreet niche lights which are designed to merge beauty with safety.
“Almost the whole back of the house is made of glass, to allow outside,” explains Franco d’Asanio, Jr. de D’Asign Source. “And outside, the owners wanted him to feel comfortable and take advantage of the beauty of their house and their surrounding goods during the day and at night.”

The trails, the quay and the exterior shower structure all benefit from various lights, including nose lights, tiki lights and path lights. Lush landscaping is not in the dark either – ball -style uplights and washed lights project dramatic shadows on palm trees and tropical plants, revealing the natural beauty of the terrain.
“We have tried to balance the textures and the character of the architectural characteristics with the colorful and fanciful nature of the landscapes,” explains Ascanio. “This is why we used a mixture of small point lights, wide -angle sinks and other lights on the property.”
The coastal source has been selected specifically for its corrosion -resistant materials and its conception to the test of weather, because the marathon environment on salt air would be strongly on all external lights.

Just as lighting has been used to guide and define external areas, the audio design of the property follows a similar philosophy. The 2-way, 3-way and source coastal source speakers, as well as powerful subwoofers, provide a dynamic sound landscape that adapts to the purpose of each area.
“We have a” sound garden “in our office where customers can test the different models,” says Ascanio. “For Harbor Palms, the owners have selected a two-track speaker configuration to enjoy the soft background music near the hammock and the art area, and chose loudspeakers with stronger and more powerful by the quay to entertain or wash their boats.”
The festival game of the property of the property – a favorite space to accommodate Asign Surveying Sweet Pouts – Fields of Line Source speakers and a subwoofer 18.0 which brings the sound of concert quality in the courtyard. The bridge on the roof, another essential place for relaxing evenings, includes a pair of two-track speakers.
Even better, the outdoor audio system fits perfectly with the high -fidelity interior systems of the house. Whether it is smooth jazz in the morning on coffee or surround sound on the day of play resonating throughout the property, the audio flows effortlessly from the inside to the exit.
“Each square foot on the outside is used,” says Ascanio. “Each area has its own mood, its character and its theme, and the coastal source helps to strengthen this. Whether it is safety for safety, lighting for the atmosphere or high performance audio for the holidays, the systems perfectly support the lifestyle of customers. ”
