His case sparked an outcry when, in opposition to the recommendations of the police and the crown prosecutors, he was released on bail of $ 15,000.

The police began investigating three sexual assault in 2011 – one near the island of Granville, one in the West End and one in Yaletown – which had all taken place in 2009.

In an incident in June 2009, Garcia Gorjon caught a woman and threw her on the ground, before pushing her head on her crotch and underwear, learned the court. The victim’s friend withdrew him and he fled.

In November, the same year, he held the charge of a woman’s skirt and got on her knees next to her when she was looking for her mailbox key early in the morning. The victim shouted and broke him on the head and shoulders, and he fled.

And in December 2010, he assaulted another woman as she was looking for her keys outside her building in the city center. The court heard that he had pushed her into the glass doors of the building, got on his knees and started licking his genitals. She was able to fight him and he fled.
