THE 2024-25 Greater Akron-Canton High School Sports Awards The program is proud to announce the nominees for the player of the year for the spring sports season.
The winners will be announced during the program live on June 17 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron. Professional football renowned temple Joe Thomas is the Guest lecturer. The show is produced with the support of Meijer.
During the program live, these nominees will be honored, as well as the nominees and winners of the player of the year of the seasons of autumn and spring sports. THE Fall nominees have already been announced and can be found here. THE Winter nominees have also been announced and can be found here.
The show will also announce the winners of our first prizes, which includes the boys athlete of the year, the female athlete of the year, the team of boys of the year, the female team of the year, the coach of the year and our recipient of courage Award.
