A month ago, we reported that Google Business Profiles support was backlog and delayed. Well, the delay does not improve. Victoria Kroll from Google published an update Friday afternoon in Google’s commercial profiles to inform us that the delay is still there.
It is so bad that Google cannot even give a calendar for the moment when the delay is resolved.
Victoria Kroll wrote in the Google corporate profile forums::
Due to an unusually high appeal volume, processing times are currently extended. We work with diligence to review all cases. At that time, we cannot provide a specific response time for pending cases.
She asked that you are not creating new requests, because it will only add to the delay. She wrote:
Please note: Do not create a new list while your call is pending. Once your call is submitted, you have nothing more. Find out more about how to call on the content of the business profile and profile restrictions or check the condition of your call. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period, and will continue to provide updates as they become available.
The delay is at the origin of problems of many small businesses and it now lasts several weeks, and there is no end in sight.
