In this second part of his interview with Executive of health care managedJohn B. Buse, MD, PH.D., professor at the University of North Carolina Medicine School (UNC) and director of the UNC diabetes care center, discusses the management of lifestyle and GLP-1.
He noted that GLP-1 tests included managing the lifestyle: “It is not instead of lifestyle management,” he said, referring to the taking of GLP-1. “It is really a complement to the management of the lifestyle.”
He quickly added that for some people, it is an absolutely essential complement. Nozzle said that in the United States, people being occupied and sometimes occupying two jobs, eating a healthy diet in a coherent way and physical activity regularly is “very, very difficult to do”.
