A new help system in Gaza opened its first distribution centers on Monday, according to a group supported by the United States which said it started to deliver food to the Palestinians who faced an increasing hunger after the blockade of Israel of almost three months to put pressure on Hamas.

Gaza Humanitarian Foundation resumes the treatment of aid despite the United Nations objections. The desperately necessary supplies began to sink a day that saw Israeli strikes kill at least 52 people in Gaza.

The group said that food trucks – he did not say how much – had been delivered to his centers and that distribution to the Palestinians had started. It was not clear where the hubs were or how the reception supplies were chosen.

“More trucks with help will be delivered tomorrow, the help flow increasing every day,” the foundation said in a statement.

The UN and the aid groups have pushed against the new system, supported by Israel and the United States. They say that Israel is trying to use food as a weapon and says that a new system will not be effective.

Israel has put pressure on an alternative aid delivery plan because he says he must prevent Hamas from entering the aid. The UN denied that the militant group has diverted large quantities.

The Foundation began its operations one day after the resignation of its executive director. Jake Wood, an American, said that he had become clear that the foundation would not be allowed to operate independently. It is not clear who finances the group, who said that he had appointed an acting leader, John Acree, to replace wood,

The organization is made up of former humanitarian, government and military officials. He said his distribution points will be kept by private security companies and that aid would reach a million Palestinians – about half of the Gaza population – by the end of the week.

Under pressure from allies, Israel began to authorize a humanitarian aid net in Gaza last week after blocked all foods, drugs, fuel or other goods from the start since early March. Help groups have warned against famine and say that the help that has arrived is far from sufficient to meet the assembly needs.

Israel renewed his offensive in March after ending a ceasefire with Hamas. He promised to take control of Gaza and continue to fight until Hamas is destroyed or disarmed, and until he returns the remaining 58 hostages, a third of them who would be alive, from October 7, 2023, which sparked the war.

Israel says that she plans to facilitate what she describes as the voluntary migration of more than 2 million people in Gaza, a plan rejected by the Palestinians and a large part of the international community.

The school strike in the Daraj district of Gaza City also injured dozens of people, said Fahmy Awad, head of the ministry’s emergency service. He said that a father and his five children were among the dead. The Shifa et al-Ahli hospitals of Gaza City have confirmed the global toll.

Awad said school had been struck three times while people were sleeping, setting fire to their property. Online circulating images have shown that rescuers had trouble extinguishing the fires and recovering the charred remains.

The army said it was targeting a command and militant control center inside the school that Hamas and Islamic jihad used to collect information for attacks. Israel blame civilian deaths in Hamas because it operates in residential areas.

Police watched closely while the demonstrators jumped, danced and sang. The event has threatened to inflamm the tensions that are grouped in the agitated city in the middle of almost 600 days of war in Gaza.

A few hours earlier, a small group of demonstrators, including an Israeli deputy, stormed a complex in East Jerusalem belonging to the United Nations Agency for Palestinian refugees, which Israel has prohibited. The complex has been mainly empty since January, when the staff was invited to stay away for security reasons. The UN says that the compound is protected by international law.
