A new help system in Gaza opened its first distribution centers on Monday, according to a group supported by the United States which said it started to deliver food to the Palestinians who faced an increasing hunger after the blockade of Israel of almost three months to put pressure on Hamas.
Gaza Humanitarian Foundation resumes the treatment of aid despite the United Nations objections. The desperately necessary supplies began to sink a day that saw Israeli strikes kill at least 52 people in Gaza.
The group said that food trucks – he did not say how much – had been delivered to his centers and that distribution to the Palestinians had started. It was not clear where the hubs were or how the reception supplies were chosen.
“More trucks with help will be delivered tomorrow, the help flow increasing every day,” the foundation said in a statement.
The UN and the aid groups have pushed against the new system, supported by Israel and the United States. They say that Israel is trying to use food as a weapon and says that a new system will not be effective.
Israel has put pressure on an alternative aid delivery plan because he says he must prevent Hamas from entering the aid. The UN denied that the militant group has diverted large quantities.
The Foundation began its operations one day after the resignation of its executive director. Jake Wood, an American, said that he had become clear that the foundation would not be allowed to operate independently. The organization is made up of former humanitarian, government and military officials. He said his distribution points will be kept by private security companies and that aid would reach a million Palestinians – about half of the Gaza population – by the end of the week.
Under pressure from allies, Israel began to authorize a humanitarian aid net in Gaza last week after blocked all foods, drugs, fuel or other goods from the start since early March. Help groups have warned against famine and say that the help that has arrived is far from sufficient to meet the assembly needs.
Hamas warned the Palestinians on Monday not to cooperate with the new aid system, saying that it aims to promote these objectives.
Israeli air strikes killed at least 36 people in a school that has become a tile that was struck while people were sleeping, putting their fire effects, according to local health officials. The soldiers said they had targeted militants operating from the school.

Awad said school had been struck three times while people were sleeping, setting fire to their property. Online circulating images have shown that rescuers had trouble extinguishing the fires and recovering the charred remains.
The army said it was targeting a command and militant control center inside the school that Hamas and Islamic jihad used to collect information for attacks. Israel blame civilian deaths in Hamas because it operates in residential areas.
A separate strike in a house in Jabalya in the north of Gaza killed 16 members of the same family, including five women and two children, according to Shifa hospital, which received the bodies.
Palestinian activists have drawn three projectiles from Gaza, two of which failed in the territory and a third party who was intercepted, according to the Israeli army.
Ultranationalists walk in East Jerusalem, turn into a United Nations compound
The ultra -nationalist Israelis gathered on Monday in Jerusalem for an annual procession marking the conquest in 1967 in 1967 in the eastern sector of the city. Some demonstrators chanted “death to the Arabs” and harassed Palestinian residents.
