Science, Sports & Play on May 15, 2025 - A unique exhibition of Los Angeles which will inspire people of all ages, history, sex and capacities through a range of exciting and immersive activities; Designed by California Science Center with the generous support and active collaboration of the Walter Family Foundation, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and the La84 Foundation.





The California Science Center will be presented at first! Science, Sports & Play on May 15, 2025 – A unique exhibition of Los Angeles which will inspire people of all ages, history, sex and capacities through a range of exciting and immersive activities; Designed by California Science Center with the generous support and active collaboration of the Walter Family Foundation, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and the La84 Foundation.

Designed by the California Science Center with the generous support and the active collaboration of the Walter Family Foundation, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation and the La84 Foundation, this dynamic exhibition highlights the powerful link between science, sport and play, while celebrating the joy of the human body in motion.

The new exhibition will give customers the possibility of exploring new and popular sports thanks to a multitude of interactive experiences. Game! Will help visitors discover that understanding scientific principles behind sport can allow their life and increase performance. Extending over 17,000 square feet, the revolutionary exhibition offers practical activities and virtual advice from a diversified team of beloved Los Angeles-Thator based on athletes.

You can try a range of activities, including baseball, softball, basketball, football, swimming, yoga, dance, snowboarding, climbing and more. Among the many activities, visitors can:

  • Learn to synchronize their swing with a simulated step at speeds varying from 30 to 60 mph
  • Find out how to kick a football ball
  • Swim with an elite athlete para in a virtual swimming pool
  • Explore the body-spirit connection by visual perception and controlled breathing
  • Understand the importance of food and health nutrition for life
  • Explore various careers in the sport industry, extending beyond the field of the game
  • And more!
