Future! Entertainment options perform the whole range in Riverside

Riverside Theater is launching a full range of entertainment for the public of all ages. The Riverside Theater for Kids will brighten up the Stark scene with a summer production of “Annie Jr.”, a musical favorite adapted to young performers and the public. The performances will take place at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday June 13 and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday June 14. Tickets are $ 10 and can be reserved by calling the 772-231-6990. Later in the evenings, Riverside Theater turns with shows of live comedy and high energy music. His comedy areas present the headliner Carl Guerra and the Mariza Brussolo law. Guerra offers a mixture of sharp observations, impressions of characters and humor supported by the guitar, while Brussolo, finalist of the funniest female competition in Florida, brings laughter related to the family. Table seats cost $ 25 and side seats are $ 15. The series of outdoor concerts of Riverside Live in the Loop continues with free performance that offers something for each music lover. The 20th Street Jazz Band offers swing, Latin, funk and rock parts like Basie, Miller, Sinatra and even Earth, Wind and Fire and the Beatles, from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12. Children can play at the imagination station and in the landscape of nature while adults appreciate the serene views of the Indian river lagoon. Visitors can also take advantage of special offers such as $ 10 of discounts on ELC subscriptions during the weekend. Kona Ice will be on site to help customers stay cool, and customers are encouraged to bring a picnic, a kite or a ball to take advantage of the wide open lawn near the Education & Event pavilion. Although admission is free, donations are welcomed to support ELC’s environmental education programs. Still at the ELC, those who seek to combine the physical shape with the tranquility of the water can register for Dolphin Drift: Sup Yoga, a yoga course inspired by the 60 -minute yin kept on paddles. The session is perfect for beginners and emphasizes a deep relaxation and a soft movement while floating on the calm waters of the lagoon. Each session starts at 9:30 am and allows two hours of time with the boards, so participants have enough time to paddle before or after the course. The dates of the summer series include June 14, with additional sessions scheduled for July 19 and 26, August 2, August 16 and August 30. The cost is $ 45 per participant. While participants are encouraged to provide their own boards, the ELC offers a limited number of Pagaie boards for rental at an additional $ 35 each. A pre -registration is required.
