Each year, the FSU honors its 100 best former entrepreneurs through Seminole 100, where the winners discover their individual ranking and receive their awards with their colleagues business leaders.
The SEMINOLE 100 companies have been classified by the World Financial Services Company EY, which has verified the information provided and classified companies according to their annual growth rate composed in the last three years.
During the event, guests have heard of the principal speaker and former FSU student, John “JD” Doughney, a world director of marketing and experienced sales at the Coles College of Business of the State University of Kennesaw. Doughney obtained a double baccalaureate in communication and political science (2002) and a master’s degree in integrated marketing communication (2003) by Florida State University.
This year’s winners represent various industries, including energy, technology, law, marketing and retail. Of the 100 recognized companies, 79 are based in Florida and 14 states across the country are represented, demonstrating the scope and impact of the former FSU on a national scale.
