EXCLUSIVE: Greenwich Entertainment has acquired North American rights of Magic houra new indie drama co-written, produced by and with Katie AseltonOn the heels of his first SXSW, released the film for its release in theaters next year.
With Aselton, Daveed Diggs and Brad Garrett, the film follows Erin (Aselton) and Charlie (Diggs) while they escape in the desert to sail in a new unexpected and difficult phase of their relationship. However, the appointment shows that they could not be distant, revealing an even more striking tour in their marriage.
Written by Aselton and her husband and frequent collaborator Mark Duplass, the film is from Duplass Brothers Productions of the latter. Emily A. Neumann produced, with Mark Duplass, Jay Duplass and Mel Eslyn Execution for Duplass Brothers Productions. We were First to report on the project in April 2024.

Aselton is a multi-hyphenate with realization credits, in particular The gift (2010), Black rock (2012) and more recently, Mack & Rita (2022) and actor credits that extend both TV and film. On television, she played in FX Legion and Apple TV + The morning show; And on the big screen, In old dads (2023), The impious (2021), Bomb (2019) and John Lithgow and Blythe Danner functionality The man of tomorrow.

Andy Bohn negotiated the agreement for Greenwich, with the CAA media finance, filling the filmmakers.
