The fourth annual federal technology symposium (FTS) is organized by the American senator Thom Tillis, the office of the American senator Ted Budd, Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC), North Carolina Military Business Center and North Carolina Defense Technology Transition (Deftech). It is scheduled from September 9 to 10 at Tony Rand Student Center in Fayetteville Community College, multipurpose room (building n ° 7) located at 2201 Hull Road.
The FTS will highlight the advanced technological needs of the main military orders in North Carolina, the Ministry of Defense (DOD) and the Ministry of Internal Security (DHS), as well as the correlation capacities of the innovation ecosystem in North Carolina and South-East. The symposium aims to establish dialogue and partnerships between industry, the academic world and the government to meet future technological needs of American combatants and security agencies.
Starting with an urgent tactical scenario and a series of in -depth round discussions, opinion leaders with various opinions will explore the pressing needs of defense and internal security and how they can be treated in collaboration thanks to a large innovation ecosystem. The discussions will include emerging technologies, collaboration for innovation, the future of war and security in the face of growing threats and demonstrations of advanced double -use technologies that can help meet rapidly evolving requirements.
One of the objectives of the session will be the scouting showcase for technological innovations. Four selected companies will present their advanced technologies to participating government representatives. The selected companies will have 10 minutes for the presentation followed by 10 minutes for comments and questions and answers from the government committee. Memoirs aim to fill the gap between innovative solutions and federal technological needs. This session is a crucial opportunity for innovators to connect with federal technological needs and to gain visibility among the main manufacturers and stakeholders in the defense sector.
