Presentation of the position:
The basketball video / analysis coordinator will play a key role in supporting the representation of Priority Sports players and recruitment efforts thanks to detailed video breakdowns, statistical analysis, screening reports and recruitment documents. This person will work directly with our basketball leadership team to develop customer equipment, assess prospects and help the internal basketball strategy and operations initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare personalized film changes and screening documents for customers and prospects.
- Perform an advanced statistical analysis to support the evaluation of the actors, development plans and recruitment strategies.
- Perform a video analysis of professional, college, international and basic players.
- Create visually convincing recruitment documents and focused on analysis for customer and prospects’ presentations.
- Follow players’ performance data in several leagues (NBA, G League, NCAA, International).
- Help with agency recruitment initiatives, including prospects and market research assessments.
- Stay up to date with basketball trends, analytical developments and emerging evaluation tools.
- Manage several projects, prioritize deadlines and deliver high quality work under time constraints.
- Maintain strict confidentiality concerning customer information and agency strategy.
Favorite qualifications:
- Basketball expertise: In-depth understanding of the basketball, terminology, players’ and systems strategy at NBA, college and international levels. Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in the relevant basketball industry. The major video coordinator or NBA is experimenting
- Basketball cinematographic skills: Mastery of synergy sports and / or platforms of equivalent basketball films required
- Video edition Technical Skills: Competent in Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent publishing software.
- Analysis skills: Solid practical knowledge of basketball data analysis, including familiarity with statistics platforms such as Synergy, Kenpom, NBA Stats, The Glass, Stathead, etc.
- Other technical skills: Competent in Microsoft Excel, with practical knowledge of data visualization tools and basic coding (Python, R, SQL, Table) has more. Competent in any Microsoft Office.
- Film and screening study: Ability to quickly identify strengths, weaknesses, trends and development areas through video and analysis
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; Ability to distill complex data with simple and usable information for agents and customers
- Organization’s skills: Very oriented towards details with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Printing material: Experience in the creation of convincing visual materials such as decks, brochures, graphics, etc. Strongly familiar with the rest of the Creative Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Indesign, After Effects, etc. Over
