“Since my birth, my parents always use buses to go everywhere in this city with my stroller and I started to fall in love with buses and skytrains,” wrote Machado.
“Each time a bus arrived or a skytrain was showing close, my father said to me:” Look at Leo … Look at the bus … the bus … and I laugh and I laugh because I love them so much. »»
Machado said her son liked to wait at the bus stop and watch the buses go.
He said his son loved Paw Patrol, Mickey Mouse and Cocomelon.
“You must be sad and I am also, when you have heard of the Baie de Horseshoe accident and on my best friends, the bus, separate me from my best friend of life, yes … my mother,” wrote Machado.
“We were inseparable and went every day to take advantage of Vancouver.”
Machado added that buses are intended to connect people, not to separate them, so he wants the help of the community to spread love and compassion.
“First of all, in order to help relieve part of the pain, if you can bring a flower to my friends who have led me to this beautiful city for almost 5 years!” He wrote.
“Ask their names and how they go!” Buy a coffee if you can because they are my heroes!
“My friends who led me throughout the city are devastated and touched by what happened with me, and I want to thank them for all the pleasure they have provided to me, and help bring love and confidence in their hands and that they continue to lead us all safely and comfortably and charming!”

Machado said he knew that his wife will deeply miss their son and if people wanted to bring flowers to the “heroes” of the Vancouver General Hospital and will keep it in their prayers, it would go very far.
“I hope I will never have to use 1 Cent that was given here for my mother and that she improves and happy because she has always been before,” wrote Machado in the GoFundme.
“This is what I want more than anything and for my father. He suffered too much loss in his life. “
Machado wrote that her son would like to improve bus stops with more shelters and perhaps build a little memorial to Horseshoe Bay which will bring a little happiness and joy to this place.
He added that more than anything, he wants his wife to improve.
“I would like you to view my mother in good health, happy and walking again. And while you imagine this image, you really believe it will happen and it makes you so happy. ”
