Tua Tagovailoa stays hot
Tua Tagovailoa is on fire, scoring at least 24 fantasy points in three straight games, all ranked in the top 10. Although the team struggled to win, Tagovailoa thrived, averaging over 300 passing yards with nine touchdowns and no interceptions during that stretch. During draft season, this late season streak was a major concern for me, but all of Miami’s defensive opponents are vulnerable to volume performance.
This week, he faces an inconsistent Jets defense that has struggled since the firing of Robert Saleh, and Sauce Gardner is dealing with a hamstring injury. With De’Von Achane emerging as the Dolphins’ most reliable receiving option, Tagovailoa is in the perfect spot to deliver another elite performance. — Tera Roberts
Chase Brown… the overall RB1?
Chase Brown has averaged 123.5 yards from scrimmage per game over his last four games while reaching the end zone three times. You better believe he’s on pace to score at least 120 and a touchdown Monday night against Dallas.
We’ve been going after the Cowboys defense all year in fantasy because they haven’t stopped anyone’s running game yet. Dallas ranks second-to-last in rushing yards allowed (147.6 YPG) and dead last in rushing touchdowns (21). It’s a matchup gift for Brown, who has become Cincinnati’s unrivaled leader. An overall RB1 finish is well within his range of results this week. Brown has 22 catches in his last four games, so he’s pretty impervious to the flow of the game. — Andy Behrens

Two sleeper TEs to consider
Tight end is always a fantastic challenge and the pool narrowed when Taysom Hill and Dallas Goedert were injured last week. Reinforcements are ready for you in the Chargers-Chiefs game.
Will Dissly is LAC’s second-most reliable passing target and he’s facing a Kansas City defense that has been torn the seam all year round. And Noah Gray has some sleeper chops on the other side, with 12 catches and four touchdowns in three games – Andy Reid has gone into a two-TE offense, in part because his receiver room hasn’t been consistent . Dissly and Gray will likely exceed their Week 14 projections. — Scott Pianoowski
Isaac Guerendo is a must-have
Isaac Guerendo suddenly went from waivers to a must-start this week after Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason suffered season-ending injuries. Guerendo has an average the fourth largest YPC (5.9) this season and has fresh legs. The rookie needs to work on his vision and is far from a complete back, but even though Mason may be the slowest running back in the league, Guerendo could be the fastest (giving it more fantasy).
The Bears have given up the second-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season, but Chicago has given up the fifth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy points to RBs over the last five games. The 49ers offense isn’t the same without Trent Williams and Brock Purdy, but San Francisco has a healthy implied team total (24.5 points) and should have a favorable game scenario as a four-point favorite . Patrick Taylor will also see work, but Guerendo is back in the top 10 this week. — Dalton DelDon
Don’t give up on Tyrone Tracy Jr. just yet
Tyrone Tracy Jr. may have frustrated the coaches in the building with three fumbles between Weeks 10 and 12. If he did, it wasn’t reflected in his playing time. The rookie played 73% of snaps on Thanksgiving and recorded his highest participation in a game with Devin Singletary active.
Clearly, the 2024 season is all but over for New York, and the future is what matters. Seeing what you have at Tracy and correcting the mistakes is the only thing that makes sense. I expect him to remain the RB1 of this backfield. It will draw a matchup in Week 14 with a Saints team that ranks 28th in EPA allowed since Week 8. This projects as the type of competitive affair in which the race should be on the line during the major part of the output. — Matt Harmon
Turn on Rico Dowdle
Rico Dowdle is finally getting the workload that coach Mike McCarthy has teased at times this season. Over the last two games, Dowdle has averaged 23 touches and 110 total yards per game. This is by far the best use of his career and it doesn’t look like it’s going away anytime soon. Dowdle produced four explosive runs of 10+ yards in Week 13 against the Giants and he was a big reason why the Cowboys were able to pick up their fifth win of the season.
This week, Dowdle finds himself in another solid matchup against the Bengals, who have struggled to defend their run consistently this year. Last week, Najee Harris had 129 yards and a touchdown against Cincinnati. Dowdle appears to be in line for another strong performance and with six teams bye in Week 14, he is top 15 at the position and a must-have RB. — Sal Vétri
